*Chicks Love Vegetarian Adivi Sesh in New ‘World Environment Day’ Campaign for PETA India*
Hyderabad – G2 and Dacoit: A Love Story star *Adivi Sesh* may be a thrill seeker on screen, but he’s showing off his kind side in a new campaign for People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals India (PETA India) released in time for World Environment Day (5 June), where he stars with a pair of chicks next to the words: “Chicks Love a Vegetarian.”
_The campaign was photographed by Shiva SS, with makeup by Tulasi Krishna Chintha, styling by Rekha Boggarapu, and hair by Sandeep Kumar Chenna._

“When you look into the eyes of a chicken, it’s easy to see that these are thinking, feeling beings who experience fear and love just like we do, and they don’t want to die,” says Adivi. “I don’t want to add more suffering to this world. That’s why I choose compassion with every meal by leaving animals off my plate.”
Chickens form complex social structures, dream when they sleep, and worry about the future, just as humans do. But in the meat industry, they’re kept in cramped, filthy conditions and killed when they’re just babies by having their throats slit while they’re still conscious.
Every person who goes meat-free helps spare animals from daily suffering and a terrifying death, dramatically shrinks their food-related carbon footprint, and slashes their risk of developing heart disease and other diet-related illnesses.
Adivi joins Kartik Aaryan, Anushka Sharma, Shahid Kapoor, Hema Malini, R Madhavan, and many other celebrities who’ve teamed up with PETA India to promote healthy, humane meat-free meals.
PETA India – whose motto reads, in part, that “animals are not ours to eat or abuse in any way” – opposes speciesism, a human-supremacist worldview. For more information, please visit *PETAIndia.com* or follow PETA India on *X*, *Facebook*, or *Instagram*.
